I went out golfing this afternoon for the first time this year. Jon and I went out with our friends Cory and Heidi and we had a couples smackdown. They spanked us. (C&H:1, J&S:0… for now, suckas.)
The picture here is of my first drive of the year. Before you start making fun of my backswing and the little “heel lift” that goes with it, know that I smacked the crap out of that sucker. Of course, I then stank it up the next 7 holes before bringing it back around on the 9th hole putt. But whatever. It’s all good if I just focus on that first lovely drive.

I love golf. I’m not good, but I love to play. Dave and I were out with our neighbors for the first time this year a couple weeks ago. It was freezing and even sprinkled a little and we did a doughnut with the cart coming down a hill. It was awesome.
