9:20 amHeart’s Still Racing…
I hit a jogger this morning on the way home from the bank. The crazy man sort of ran into the front of my car. Scared the crap out of me and him. He swore at me (through the bug-spattered windshield, I’m pretty sure the word was “bee-yotch”) and jogged away slowly. I suppose he’s okay…
but I’m riding my bike everywhere else I go today. Just to be safe.

Holy shmoly.
How scary.
My sister hit a bicyclist years ago, when she was 8 months pregnant. He was badly injured; she thought she would go to jail. (No charges were filed. He sailed through an intersection and paid dearly for it.)
She wouldn’t drive for a long time after that.
So, be well today. Thank God, despite his mouth, he was able to jog off.

Don’t feel bad, mom did the same thing to some kid skate boarding through and intersection a few years ago. Glad everyone is okay.

@Sam- Yeah, but we all know how Mom drives… not sure that makes me feel a whole lot better!
Didn’t you get hit in a crosswalk once? I remember your leg was messed up for a while.
@Lisa- I’m sorry about your sister. Seriously, I was scared to drive today, even though I’m pretty sure it wasn’t really my fault. All day I drove around with white knuckles, like I was waiting for the car to smack into someone’s body. Creepy.

Wow. I’m so glad everyone is ok. What a scary way to start the day.

@Suz- Yeah I did. The girl was barely old enough to drive. She just drove away and left me there not even able to stand up.
