I love, love, love my bike. I got it in May and I’ve taken it all over town all summer. Zoe learned to ride her two-wheeler without training wheels this summer, so the kids and I have been bike-riding fools. We biked to summer camp, to the park, to the local rec center, to grandmas, to cub scouts. Pretty much everywhere. My bike is a Trek 7000 WSD (”WSD” means: for chicks). It’s green and beautiful. You should go out today and buy one.

 Here is me (taken today) loving my bike:

Trek 7000

I still need to find a sweet basket for the front. I currently wear a little backpack when I ride, to carry drinks and locks and what-not. I need to find the perfect basket… something with flowers or butterflies on it.

I’ll be sad when it gets cold and we get all of that fabulous Utah snow, and I’ll have to pack my bike away for the winter. *sniff* Dumb winter…

  1. It’s a great bike. Did you name it? I haven’t had a bike in a long, long time. It’s one of those things Dave and I keep saying we need to buy for ourselves, but never do. Julia has a tricycle and a bike with training wheels. I suspect that once she’s off in the two-wheeled world, Dave and I had better have two wheels to keep up with her.

  2. Cute bike. I had my eye on one similar to it about a year ago, but it was much too expensive. Instead I got a Specialized off of craigs list for $90. That price was more up my alley! :) Now I just need to teach Parley to ride a 2 wheeler. Right now we have him on one of those one wheeled bike frames that attaches to my bike. He is way too heavy so we don’t bike that much.

  3. My old bike is broken and sad! I used to (pre-children) ride it everywhere, so it is hard to part with. Next summer, it either gets fixed or there will be a replacement. Nothing better than a bike…

    {Especially when you look so darn cute! Geez.}
