I love cheese and chocolate. And yes, I even love them together. For me, it’s really tough to find something yummier than a grilled cheese sandwich dipped in chocolate milk. And no, I’m not kidding. It’s delicious. I’ve eaten grilled cheese that way since I was a kid, and I’ve converted my kids to the dark side as well (much to my husband’s chagrin… he’s a “grilled cheese dipped in ketchup” kind of guy). The most awesome part — when the melted cheese drips from your sandwich into the glass, and mingles at the bottom with the residual chocolate power. Yum. Don’t believe me? Try it now. Go.
Has no one else ever heard of this crazy cuisine? Did my mom make it up?
By the way, I also love peanut butter and seafood… and if I can ever figure out how to meld all of those flavors together, you better believe I’ll do it. Maybe I could pull it off with fondue…

I’ve never dipped my grilled cheese in chocolate milk. It sounds…interesting.

Ahh, sweet and savory, a classic combination. It’s like bree on your apple, chocolate tort on your cracker with goat cheese, or french fries dipped in your milk shake, right? I’ve not tried it but it sounds good. I’ve only got veggie cheese slices and soy milk but I bet it will still be yummy.

There’s got to be some awesome Thai recipe out there, bringing seafood and peanut sauce together in blissed out joy.
I love peanut sauce. It is heavenly.

@Kerri- Mmm… french fries dipped in milk shakes… yummy!
@Leslie- Dude! You gotta try it! You may like it in your prego state, along with pickles and refried beans.

Wow! Your blog made me gag!

Thank goodness braine is on my side - I am nauseous here. Grilled cheese sandwiches should not be dipped in anything except possibly hot grease to make a Monte Cristo.
But you go crazy, girl. Enjoy, but let us never speak of it again

It sounds like mom made this up. Me and my kids love it too, but it makes Tony gag. I still eat it in front of him because he eats bread, milk, and sugar all mixed together…that’s gagging!!
