And when you said it I thought: Christmas baby. Mine is the 13th; my Mom’s is Christmas Eve. It’s kind of a tough time, but if it’s meant to be, it is.

Jon was joking around that I was pregnant as soon as I got sick. But I think he was as shocked as the rest of us when it turned out to be true. (He found out when Zoe called him crying after the office visit.) He does think he’s too old. He’s already gone through the whole “Do you know how old I’ll be when this kid graduates?!” It’s ridiculous, really.

@Mama Milton- I think I’ll be induced as early as is safe to do it, just so the poor kid doesn’t have one of those Christmas birthdays. I have to imagine every kid feels ripped off having a birthday at Christmas.

Hey there! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’ve still been catching up on your posts and I’m so excited to hear your wonderful news!!! All children are a blessing. Your family will adapt and be so happy once the baby gets here. I too am expecting and due August 13. I’m dealing with Brighton, at 2 1/2 years old, who is very excited about having a baby sister but, I’m afraid the real challenge will be once she gets here. I’m predicting jealousy and regression in the near future. Can’t wait to hear more about your pregnancy! Get lots of rest!!!

Congrats, Suz! Your Uncle Beezer told me about your blog and, I have to say, I love it! And, preggo or not, you haven’t lost your humor.
(I’m sure you don’t remember but, Beez is an old friend of mine from waaayyy back and the last time I saw you was when you were about 8 or 9. Geez, talk about feeling old, lol! And, I have some pics of him around here somewhere that I’m sure you would love to see.) Take care!
