Holy Fro’s

In fairness, everyone has had their fair share of bad hair days. May I present the reason for all of mine.

Groovy, huh? This is a pic of the Crunkletons and the Stewarts, my mother and biological dad’s families (respectively). My mom is in the second row, white shirt, to the right of my buff and shirtless uncle Matt. My dad is in the back row, directly over her right shoulder.

You think you’ve got hair troubles?

*shut your mouth!*

*I’m talkin ’bout the Fro, baby*

*We can dig it…*

  1. Fabulous picture! I have the opposite problem with my hair - it is poker straight and thin. I used to dream of being a naturally curly-haired blonde.

  2. That’s great! So retro. You didn’t stand a chance of straight hair, did you? LOL. Thanks for sharing. Why do we always look back at those pictures and wonder why we wore our hair that way?

  3. I was meaning to ask you about your hair…. You used to have curly hair. Your pic’s now have sraight hair. Do you straighten it everyday or has it gone straight? I have a few friends that this has happened to once they got older or had children… Just curious

  4. @Cassie- Yeah, after babies my hair went MUCH straighter. Now it just has an annoying, weird wave pattern…like cowlicks gone all awry. I blow it out straight now.

  6. Boy, that makes me feel old. I am now older than my dad was in that picture.
I do have to correct you on the photo. Your biological father is directly over your mom’s LEFT shoulder. Your Uncle Dave (her brother) is directly over her right shoulder. I know we lived in the mountains of Western Maryland, but the thought of THAT is just sick:-)

  7. @Uncle Sam- For the record, I have to state that I DO know my dad from my uncle… I meant my mom’s right shoulder as you are *looking* at the picture… I’m digging myself a deeper hole, aren’t I?

This is Sheena shutting up now, over and out.
