Yesterday was Deacon’s baby blessing. I bought him a little suit… which felt cheap after making the other kids’ blessing outfits. But Jachin’s blessing suit doesn’t fit Deac and I didn’t have the time (or frankly the energy) to whip Deac up a new one. Plus, the satin from the other kids’ outfits was taken from my wedding dress train… and that material is long gone.
Deacon was the perfect gentleman. He was awake for the whole thing, but didn’t make a peep. He is developing a quiet, curious nature. He just sits back and takes everything in. The blessing itself was fantastic. It’s not something appropriate to post on my blog, but just know that it was something precious and great.
And here he is: the little guy.
Very chill. Not the least bit nervous.

He is so cute!! I want to squeeze my monitor! His curious nature makes him seem more like Jachin to me, very smart.

He is so cute, he looks like a little man…he is a little man, a very handsome lil man. I missed the blessing because as we were headed out the door ON TIME, Miles puked all over me, everywhere, so I didn’t hear it. Marisa told me all about it, which means she listened. Impressive. Well done, Deac, way to behave yourself for such a special occasion.

How adorable!!! He is such a cutie! Glad to hear that the blessing went well. Deacon’s quiet nature reminds me of Scott when he was a baby. Scott studied and analyzed everyone…I used to say that I could see the wheels turning in his head and that if he could talk, he’d probably tell me how stupid I was. Anyway, Deacon will probably be one of those high IQ genuises.
