Those would be the kids’  toothbrushes. In blocks of ice.

Jon did the actual work to make this prank happen, as I had a sick, sleeping baby in my arms late last night.

The website that listed the prank ideas said that people would bang it on the counter for a long time before figuring out a smarter way to get the toothbrush out. Apparently Zoe is smarter than your average mark. Which makes me proud as a mother, but as a prankster I can tell you that it’s less fun to watch people be smart.

Don’t worry about the kids getting duped, because Zoe totally got Jon back a few minutes after that. And then filmed it… while jumping up and down with sinister glee. (As with anything Zoe films, it is probably best to take a Dramamine before viewing.)

Happy April Fools… go do something prankish!

  2. You guys are hilarious! I loved Zoe’s prank too. I like April Fools, but Devin really doesn’t. Last year I turned his rice milk blue (it’s in a box so you can’t see it before you pour it) and he was really grossed out. He asked me to not do anything food related this year. So to be really tricky, I did nothing. I’m going to remember freezing the toothbrush though. Good one!

  4. You all are so inventive! We did nothing in honor of April Fools other than share a contemplative moment of silence over our cereal. That wasn’t nearly as fun.
